Browplasty Endoscopic Brow Lift (Forehead Lift)
A forehead lift is a procedure intended to smooth wrinkles and correct drooping brows and heavy eyelids to give a more youthful and rested appearance. It may be performed alone or in conjunction with other cosmetic procedures, including a facelift, eyelid surgery or laser skin resurfacing.

During the procedure, commonly performed on individuals between 35 and 60 years of age, incisions are made behind the hairline. This may be done with the use of an endoscope, which uses several small incisions versus a single long incision. The muscles that cause forehead wrinkles and frown lines at the base of the nose are then removed and the eyebrows are lifted into a more appropriate position.

Forehead lifts may be conducted under local anesthesia with IV sedation or general anesthesia in an outpatient facility. Following the procedure, the patient will experience swelling and bruising for seven to 10 days.
