Juvaderm is a newer, long-lasting injectible filler primarily for use in softening the wrinkles that occur in the lower face, including nasolabial folds that run from the nose to the lips. It is also used to augment or “plump” the lips.
Juvaderm is comprised of hyaluronic acid in a gel form. Side effects of its use are minimal and may include minimal redness or swelling, which lasts for just a few days.
